Training Within Industry (TWI)

TWI trains the manager and employee on successful, open-minded, training programs. You will gain problem solving and relational skills that will help prevent problems from arising. You will learn and practice how to use the four-step Job Instruction method to quickly train employees to perform a job correctly, safely, and conscientiously; and by making the best use of currently available people, machines, and materials, you will improve the way jobs are performed so that greater quantities of product can be produced in less time.

Management Development

Management Development encourages the use of teams, communication, and coaching. You will increase skills and success at leading teams and become more effective team leaders of ongoing work teams, continuous improvements teams, and project teams. You will improve your ability to communicate effectively by learning to be more active listeners, as well as by learning how to deliver both positive and negative feedback and managing conflict constructively. You will also be able to help employees achieve their objectives by becoming skillful coaches. Leader as Coach is a technique to give on-going guidance, instruction, feedback, and support to employees. Time Management is another skill that can make a big difference in the effectiveness of a manager at any level.
