Interpreters (or Future Interpreters)
What is ASLO? It stands for American Sign Language Organization! We are a student run organization at Western Kentucky University. Our focus is ASL, Deaf Culture, bridging Hearing and Deaf worlds and having FUN while doing it!
The ASL students at Western Kentucky University wanted to put together a place where people can see upcoming ASL/Deaf events and activities to build a stronger signing community.
This year we celebrated our 5th Annual Signing Santa at the Skate Box! Who would've known how much one student's idea would grow, and how successful it would become?! Pictures from the event have been posted to our Facebook page. Be sure to take a look!
This year we are hosting our first, very own ASL immersion weekend. The hope is to come together in a relaxed, "out of classroom" setting to enhance our signing skills and learn from experts in the field, make new friends and have fun signing. If this sounds interesting, take a look at our site for the weekend, fill out a registration form and send it in! And remember to follow our page on Facebook and tweet it up #PAH2013.
Check it out! The Bowling Green Daily News posted an article online featuring members of the local Deaf community, specifically Beth Driver. Way to go! Be sure to take some time and read the article (Check it out)...

A big thanks goes out for all those involved in making it happen! It's been a long time coming. See it on Facebook!
