  • I am originally from Azerbaijan but moved to Bowling Green, KY 4 years ago and attended Greenwood High School. 

  • I am a junior with Chemistry and Biology double-major with a pre-med concentration and I am planning to attend medical school and work within the medical field in the future.

  • My current research involves the study of the effects of sympathetic nervous system inhibition upon inflammatory responses to sleep loss with Dr. Ashley in Biology Department.

  • I have been involved in the Chemistry Club since my first semester at WKU and have enjoyed every moment of it!

  • I am from Bowling Green and attended South Warren High School.

  • I am a ACS Biochemistry Major and Applied Statistics Minor.

  • I want to pursue a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or Cancer Biology after graduation. I am mainly interested in biomedical research.

  • I research in Dr. B. Williams lab working with platinum-based compounds. We want to determine why the toxicity of a certain platinum compound varies by cell type.

  • I became involved in Chem Club because I enjoyed spending time with my chemistry-minded friends. I also appreciate that is a chapter of a professional organization like ACS.

  • I am from Bowling Green and attended South Warren High School.

  • I am a Chemistry major, focusing in pre-pharmacy.

  • I plan to attend a pharmacy school and get a dual PharmD and MPH degree to work in a pharmacy setting and later move into a public health role.

  • I joined the chemistry club to broaden my horizons and involvement at WKU. I have throughly enjoyed every moment with the club and the experience it has brought me.

  • I am a sophomore from Murray, KY.

  • I major in biochemistry with a premed concentration.

  • After graduation, I plan on attending medical school.

  • I got involved in chemistry club because I knew it would be a great way to meet other students who are driven, ambitious, and are passionate about their field of study.

  • I joined WKU’s chemistry club since my first semester and love being able to share my passion for it with my peers
