FMA Membership Application

To apply for membership in FMA at WKU

 There are now two types of memberships available at WKU: Local only or FMA International.

 

To Join the Local chapter only:

See Dr. Snavely in GH328 or drop by the Finance Department office, GH334 to pay your $10 local dues. Be sure to provide your name when bringing your local dues by either office.

Graduating seniors or people interested in attending the FMA Leadership Conference should join FMA International.

To Join FMA International:

Visit the FMA International Web Site

Select Western Kentucky University from the dropdown menu of universities.

Total amount due for a one-year membership is $40 ($35 national dues + $5 local dues)

Pay the FMA dues at the FMA International site. Pay the $5 local dues either to Dr. Snavely, GH328, or drop your payment off to the Finance Department office, GH334. Be sure to provide your name when bringing your local dues by either office.

You may apply to be a member of the FMA National Honors Society for an additional $5. You must have an overall GPA of 3.5, a 3.5 GPA in finance classes and have completed at least 6 hours in finance. The local FMA faculty advisor must verify that you meet these requirements before applying for NHS. Contact Dr. Snavely to request authorization for applying for NHS membership. Please include your 800 number with your request.
