WKU Financial Management Association
About Us
The WKU Financial Management Association is the university's longstanding student organization committed to preparing undergraduates for careers in corporate finance—connecting members to industry professionals through mentorship, networking, and real-world opportunities to build a network that lasts beyond graduation.
In a competitive recruiting landscape, the difference between a good candidate and a great one is often who they know and what they've done; FMA exists to help WKU undergraduates build both of these advantages.
Organizational Structure
FMA typically hosts biweekly meetings on Tuesdays at 4:00 PM in Chandler Hall, with meetings alternating between speaker events, networking opportunities, and professional development sessions. The organization is led by an executive board of experienced upperclassmen with a strong foundation in finance, ensuring members are guided by peers who understand the recruiting process firsthand.
Membership
The WKU Financial Management Association (FMA) is open to all students who are interested in finance, investing, and professional development. Whether you are exploring the field or preparing for full-time recruiting, FMA provides the tools, connections, and experience to help you stand out.
