Krystal holds a JD degree, Stetson University College of Law, and a BA in Journalism with a minor in Spanish, Howard University. Krystal works with programs primarily in areas of Program, Design, and Management and Family and Community Partnerships. With 24+ years developing and delivering professional trainings in both Head Start and other industries, she is comfortable working with diverse groups of professionals. To support her collaboration with programs, she has continued her professional development by becoming a certified mediator and registered parliamentarian. Krystal strongly believes that understanding the changes that are happening in Head Start/EHS and the impact those changes have on program administration is an essential part of working effectively with programs. She continues to engage in professionally developmental activities to stay informed on matters concerning the administration of HS/EHS programs. In 2017, Krystal was appointed to the National Child Passenger Safety Board. In this role, she works with other board members to develop and implement educational materials and initiatives to further reach at-risk populations, particularly by building partnerships through the national Head Start program, for advancing the mission of saving lives and preventing injuries.
