Register Here: EHS 102 Registration

Standard Registration: $600

Registration deadline:

  • August 11, 2025

Are you interested in participating in a training series solely focused on Early Head Start content, requirements, and challenges? Are you finding that your “new” staff or somewhat “new” staff need a training that will take a step above “basic” orientation to help them understand the intent and design of Early Head Start? Have you expanded your program or converted preschool slots to Early Head Start slots, and do you want that “next step” of information to enhance quality? Did your staff participate in EHS 101 in the fall of 2024? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, then Early Head Start 102 is just what you or your staff need!

Early Head Start 102 is aligned with the OHS goals of Early Head Start and will include:

  • Ensuring the provision of high-quality, responsive services to children and families through the development of trained and caring staff.
  • Taking an in-depth look into the overall development of infants and toddlers so that staff truly understand how children develop, the importance of implementing positive, responsive strategies in the classroom, and the importance of quality interactions.
  • Examining the relationships EHS programs have with families and how to ensure those relationships become strong and offer families a healthy partnership with the program.
  • Recognizing how essential the various components related to curriculum, screening, and assessment are to the growth and progress of children and examining the various strategies for implementation of the education and health requirements.
