The Head Start & Early Head Start Home-Based Pre-Institute: choose between Option 1 or 2 during registration.

Option 1: Overview and Orientation to the Head Start Home-Based Option is a comprehensive, intensive orientation to the home-based program option that will be of benefit for all new home visitors and to home visitors who would like a review or refresher course. 

Option 2: Get the Party Started! Finding Fun in Our Work! is a full-day interactive session on ways to enhance our socialization adventures and explore how our personalities affect and add to our work with each other and the families we serve.

The Head Start & Early Head Start Home-Based Institute is a unique training event designed for new and experienced home visitors, as well as other staff working in programs that utilize the home-based model for delivering Head Start or Early Head Start services. The Institute also welcomes those programs and staff who are interested in learning more about the Head Start home-based option or who are considering a home-based model as a temporary option. New home visitors and home visitors who would like a review or refresher course may also wish to attend The Home-Based Pre-Institute on September 23, 2025.
